Wang, Lixiang

My name is Lixiang Wang, and I am excited to be the 2026–2027 TK–K SDC Teacher at Spangler! I grew up in China and completed my general education through the Chinese school system. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development, with a minor in Early Childhood Special Education, as well as a Master’s degree in Special Education.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of early childhood settings, including family child care, preschool centers, and bilingual early childhood programs in English and Chinese at an international school with an IB curriculum. I have also gained experience working with students in different special education settings at the elementary school level, including Resource Specialist Program (RSP) and Special Day Class (SDC) programs.

I’m passionate about working with young children and supporting each child’s individual needs and strengths. I’m looking forward to getting to know my students and their families, building a welcoming classroom community, and making lots of fun memories together!
