Rainer, Taná

Hello! My name is Taná Rainer, and I am proud to serve as the Principal Secretary at Anthony Spangler Elementary School.

My connection to Milpitas Unified School District runs deep, I am a former MUSD student, having attended Weller Elementary, Russell Middle School, and Milpitas High School.

My journey in education began by accident in 2004 in Newark, CA, as a Child Nutrition Cashier. I actually have a background and certificate in Hospitality Management and Restaurant Operations. Over the years, I have worn several different hats in education, including Paraeducator, Staff Secretary, and Account Technician. I bring that strong dedication to service and community care to our school every day.

Outside of work, I love being outdoors soaking up the sunshine, reading, wine tasting, and baking, I truly love to feed people!

I am so grateful to serve the district that helped shape me and to support our Spangler students, families, and staff!
