El-Amin, Khayriyyah

My name is Khayriyyah El-Amin, and I am excited to be teaching Kindergarten here at Spangler! This is my 12th year in education and my 4th year at Spangler. I hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Brenau University.

I love teaching the foundational stages of learning through play, hands-on experiences, and student-centered activities. I believe young learners thrive when they are given opportunities to explore, create, and learn in meaningful ways.

I am married and a proud mother of two sons, who also attend Spangler. Nasr is a 4th grader, and Amir is in Kindergarten. Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.

I am excited to work with my students and their families to make this a successful and memorable year!
