Young, Emely

Hi! My name is Mrs. Young and I teach 4th grade here at Spangler. I was born in Mexico, where I lived for a short time before moving to California with my family. I grew up in Milpitas and went to school here from kindergarten all the way until graduating from Milpitas High. I am happy to be teaching in the community where I grew up! I went to San José State University where I studied Child and Adolescent Development and Spanish, and then returned for my Bilingual Multiple Subject Credential and my Masters in Education. I have two children. This will be my tenth year teaching. I have taught first grade, third, and fourth. I love being outdoors and doing things like hiking, going for walks, camping, and spending time at the beach or lake. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, playing games, and spending time with family and friends.
