Tran, Lan-Anh

Hi everyone! My name is Lan-Anh (Lana) Tran and I'm excited to teach 4th and 5th grade this year at Spangler Elementary. A bit about my academic background: I got my Bachelor's at UC Santa Barbara in English and Japanese and I hold a master's degree in education from San Jose State University (once a spartan, always a spartan)! In my classroom, I will focus on cultivating lifelong learning, building a strong sense of community, and encouraging my students to embrace new challenges.

When I'm not in the classroom, you'll find me snowboarding, reading, watching movies, or working on learning a new language. This year is going to be a great one, and I'm so excited to experience it with all of you!
