This is a reminder that California state law requires all students entering 7th grade to have documentation of a Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) booster vaccination before the start of the school year.

To ensure your child’s enrollment is not delayed, please submit proof of the Tdap vaccination to the school health office as soon as possible if you have not already done so.

Important information:

• The Tdap booster must be given on or after the child’s 7th birthday.

• Proof may be provided by submitting an official immunization record from your child’s healthcare provider.

• Students without documentation may be excluded from school until the requirement is met, in accordance with state law.

If you believe your child’s records have already been submitted, or if you have questions about this requirement, please contact the school health office for verification or assistance.

Please contact your health care provider to schedule an appointment.  Once your child gets the vaccine, please bring the documentation to the office, so we can update your child’s records and clear them before entering 7th grade.
