Dear Spangler Families,

To ensure the safety of all students at Spangler, we are implementing new arrival and departure regulations. These regulations will officially take effect on Monday, August 24th to give everyone a chance to settle into the schedule. Please review the updated requirements below.

📋 New Sign-In & Sign-Out Requirements
  • Early Drop-Off (Before 8:00 AM): Parents/guardians must walk students into the front office and physically sign them in.
  • Late Pick-Up (After School Dismissal): Students will no longer be permitted to walk to the parking lot unattended. An adult must enter the front office to sign them out.
    • TK / Kindergarten: Release at 2:06 PM on regular days and 12:16 PM on Wednesdays and minimum days.
    • 1st - 6th Grade: Release at 2:46 PM on regular days and 1:21 PM on Wednesdays and minimum days.
🛑 Exceptions
Students are exempt from these sign-in / sign-out rules on days they are actively participating in official after-school programs, such as a club or leadership events.

🕒 Office Hours & Compliance
  • Standard Office Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Please note that there is no guarantee there will be someone in the front office in the mornings to supervise your children before 8:00 AM.
  • Attendance Monitoring: To ensure student safety, families who excessively drop off early or pick up late will receive a formal notification letter by mail.
