New Parent Volunteer Process

Dear Spangler Families,

We really appreciate your continued support and involvement in our school community! Our volunteers make a big difference by helping create great experiences for our students and supporting the many things that happen at our school each day.

Please be advised that the district is implementing a new process for all NEW parent volunteers, effective immediately. Paper volunteer forms are no longer accepted.

This update applies to ALL NEW parent volunteers.

For parent volunteers who have been previously cleared, if you plan on being a Type 3 volunteer (field trip chaperones), you will need to complete the training linked on the form. Once you complete the training, you will have to submit the certificate of completion through the Google Form. Please note that you will also have to upload a current TB test and ID as well.  Ensure your TB test/assessment is up-to-date (must be renewed every 4 years). Redoing fingerprints is not necessary. 

Steps to Complete the Process:

• Visit musd.org.

• Click on the “Volunteer Opportunities” tab under “Get Involved”.

• Click on the “Volunteer Instructions and Form” link to access the detailed instructions.
