Dear Spangler Families,

To ensure the safety of all students at Spangler, we are implementing new arrival and departure regulations. Please review these requirements below.

📋 New Sign-In & Sign-Out Requirements
  • Early Drop-Off (Before 8:00 AM): Parents/guardians must walk students into the front office and physically sign them in.
  • Late Pick-Up (After School Dismissal): Students will no longer be permitted to walk to the parking lot unattended if their ride is late. An adult must enter the front office to sign them out.
    • TK / Kindergarten: Release at 2:06 PM on regular days and 12:16 PM on Wednesdays and minimum days.
    • 1st - 6th Grade: Release at 2:46 PM on regular days and 1:21 PM on Wednesdays and minimum days.
🛑 Exceptions
Students are exempt from these sign-in / sign-out rules on days they are actively participating in official after-school programs, such as a club or leadership events.

🕒 Office Hours & Compliance
  • Standard Office Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Please note that there is no guarantee there will be someone in the front office in the mornings to supervise your children before 8:00 AM.
  • Attendance Monitoring: To ensure student safety, families who excessively drop off early or pick up late will receive a formal notification letter by mail.
